Camp Duration:Each camp is a four day camp that meets three hours each day, and will be limited to 10 students.

Cost: $180

Class will meet 3 hours each day for 4 days, and will be limited to 10 students. If students miss a class there are no makeups.

Lego Robotics 1

Ages: 9-14

LEGO Robotics combines LEGO building, computer programming, design, team-work, and problem-solving skills in a fun and challenging environment.

LEGO Robotics gives kids as young as 4th grade the opportunity to explore engineering, math and science. The process of creating autonomous machines that complete useful tasks is what makes LEGO robotics so much fun!

Our expert teachers will guide students as they build and test their LEGO robots and learn valuable engineering principles along the way.

This camp will introduce students to the LEGO NXT kits.  Students will learn to write programs and complete simpler task that require different sensors include light, ultra-sonic, touch and color sensors.  No experience is required.

 

Junior Robotics

Ages: 8-10

Junior Robotics combines LEGO building, computer programming, design, team-work, and problem-solving skills in a fun and challenging environment.

Our Junior Robotics classes are specifically designed for students that are interested in exploring robotics using the Lego NXT systems from Lego Education.  The Lego NXT systems involve more complicated building and programming, so this class will move at a slower pace to ensure that all students are grasping the programming concepts, and developing the skills needed to succeed in our Lego Robotics Lab.

Junior Robotics gives students from 8 to 14 years old the opportunity to explore engineering, math and science. The process of creating autonomous machines that complete useful tasks is what makes LEGO robotics so much fun!

Our expert teachers will guide students as they build and test their LEGO robots and learn valuable engineering principles along the way.  Students will work in teams of two.

 

Introduction to Lego Engineering

Ages: 6-9

Introduce your young student to the wonderful world of robotics and engineering with the creative LEGO® system. Students will build several different models that feature working motors and sensors.

This is a perfect starter class for students that have never experienced working with LEGO WeDo kits.  Students will learn the basic of programming and how to use the sensors to make their models perform different tasks.

 

Lego: Simple & Motorized Machines

Ages: 6-10

LEGO Simple & Powered Machines allows student to work as young scientists, engineers and designers. Students will design and make models, test and observe their models perform, re-design and then retest their models. Students collaborate in building their models by each building a subset, then combining them to create a complete model.

Our teachers will guide students through each build and challenge them to think. Classes are kept small so each students gets the most out of their experience.

 

*Camp openings are not updated in real time and therefore can not be guaranteed.  Confirmation emails will indicate if student was enrolled in camp or placed on waitlist.  Cancellation Policy: Cancellations done more than two (2) weeks prior to start of camp will be refunded at 80% of tuition, cancellations less than two (2) weeks prior to start of camp will not be refunded.
